Neutral Eyes and Bold Lip Tutorial

This fun look focuses on the lips, perfect for summer with its bright color. With a fluttery, natural eye, the purple/pink lips really pop, creating a bold look that goes perfectly with more neutral or blue-toned outfits. Scroll down for a tutorial and list of products used!

1. Prime the whole eyelid and under the bottom waterline; my go-to is Urban Decay colorless primer. I then used the Too Faced "Everything Nice" palette to brush on "Dream On, a pale, nude color, all over the lid and brow bone.

2. Take a matte, white color, such as "Turtle dove", to put on the inner corner and the highest point of the brow bone.

3. Take a blending brush and apply a soft brown eyeshadow in the crease to serve as a transitional color. Only use a little product at a time and use many tiny strokes to really, naturally blend it out.

4. Take a dark, chocolate-y brown to add a little more depth. Also, apply with a blending brush and put a little in the outer corner of the inside of the crease. Apply some under the bottom line too with a eyeliner brush. Blend out. Then use a black liquid liner to trace the upper eyelid and flick out, creating a wing.

5. Add lashes if you'd like. Then curl and apply mascara. I used "Falsies".

7. (Lips) Add a shimmery highlighter on the cupid's bow, and apply the bright lipstick, "Hot Plum" by Maybelline.
